Community Impact
Innovative Health Group believes that our core purpose of changing people's lives goes well beyond our client focus. As an organization, we feel a responsibility to continually invest in our local and international communities. We also believe that in aligning ourselves strongly with a single charitable cause, we can better focus our efforts, resulting in greater charitable impact. Through the years Innovative Health Group has focused on childhood cancer as a primary charity and has contributed by way of fundraising and in-hospital support.
-
Our marquis fundraising event is our annual Train the Trainer, in which personal trainers donate their time, effort and sweat, while Innovative clients donate money to personally "pay back" their trainer(s) of choice through a grueling workout regime. We take great pride in this partnership between our customers and team.
-
Innovative Health Group has approached the $150,000 mark for Train the Trainer event donations which has been directly donated to The Kids Cancer Care Foundation to support all kids facing childhood cancer.
-
Our annual Innovative Toy Drive and Christmas visit to the Alberta Children's Hospital is entering it's 12th year. Our team is fortunate and thankful for the opportunity to personally deliver gifts, donated by Innovative client's, to kids throughout the Alberta Children's Hospital.
-
Our organization regularly supports other local and international charities of choice.
-
In 2008, $21,000 was raised with the help of Innovative clients and staff to provide schooling to less fortunate children in Mexico.
-
In 2009, personal trainer Mike Danskin raised over $10,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association through his personal challenge to climb 4 Mountains in 1 Day.
-
In 2009 Innovative Health Group's General Manager Stan Peake raised over $5000, in support of a friend re-diagnosed with cancer, by cycling from Edmonton to Calgary in less than 10hrs.
-
Company president, Vince Danielsen, created the Every Yard Counts program, in which children suffering from cancer are able to attend Stampeders Football Games and meet the players.
