How is Destination Boot Camp different?

Destination Boot Camp offers a hardworking, supportive, team environment. We have highly qualified trainers who have extensive knowledge in adapting your boot camp experience to be suitable for your fitness level and individual needs. In addition, at the end of each six week series we offer a Destination Challenge, which provides you with a concrete goal. To support you in all your health goals we offer optional seminars on a weekly basis that address a variety of health and wellness topics.

What locations and times are offered?

We offer boot camps in various locations in both the mornings and evenings. Please check our location link to find a time and location that works for you.

What do we do on the first day?

On the first day, there will be an initial fitness profile to help us assess your needs and fitness level, relative to your fitness goals. This will provide both you and your trainer a starting point. At the end of our six week boot camp series, we will repeat your fitness profiling and assessment. We will be completing a series of exercises, which can be modified for any injuries, health limitations or other restrictions.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring the following:

  • Good running shoes
  • Suitable workout wear that is weather appropriate and comfortable. Bring layers if you are unsure of how to dress for varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Water Bottle
  • Yoga mat (or if you have purchased one we will supply it for you)
  • 10lbs. weights
  • Positive attitude

What kind of intensity can I expect at boot camp?

Destination Boot Camp is a high intensity boot camp. It is meant to take you outside your comfort zone and challenge your limits. We realize that most everyone will have different fitness and levels of comfort; however our trainers are here to support you and help you achieve your goals, regardless of level. We want you to succeed!

What if I am currently inactive?

If you are currently inactive, Destination Boot Camp is exactly where you should be! As it will be a group atmosphere, you are able to take the instruction at your own pace and exercise modifications may be made for each exercise. We also have highly qualified trainers that can help and support you through your learning process.

What if I am the slowest person in the group?

There is no “slowest person”. At Destination Boot Camp, we have a positive team atmosphere where everyone supports and helps each other. Trainers offer great support for those who need it. No one gets left behind.

Do I have to run?

Yes. If you have an injury that restricts your ability to run, all trainers are educated in alternative activities for you to complete.

I'm already in good shape, is this for me?

Yes, Destination Boot Camp will be a challenging and rewarding experience regardless of fitness level.

What if I have an existing injury or health concern?

Please indicate the nature of your injury, approximate date of injury and limitations this may cause when you register. Please also tell your trainer at the beginning at each session.

What if the weather is bad?

Destination Boot Camp runs rain or shine. Please make sure to dress appropriately for all potential weather conditions.

What if I am late?

Try not to be late, it helps the trainer run the program smoothly and appropriately; if you come in late join in and get working!

What is the Destination Challenge?

The Destination Challenge will change after every six week program. Some examples of Destinations are: amazing race style adventures, hiking and trail running.

How difficult will the Destination Challenge be?

The Destination will be a challenge for each individual however, our six week boot camp program will be geared towards training for each specific Destination. You will be prepared for it if you attend each session and follow through!

How do I pay online?

Payment may be made online with Visa, MasterCard or Pay Pal.

What is my login ID for online payment?

You must first register online to obtain a login ID. If you have forgotten your login ID, please e-mail us at kaitlyn@innovativehealthgroup.com. You may also request an automatic reminder directly from the login page.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds shall be offered after the start of boot camp. Credits may be allotted on a case-by-case basis to future boot camp sessions if extenuating circumstances arise.

I have a commitment on a boot camp day, what should I do?

If you know you are going to miss a session you have the option to email us 24 hours prior to that time and request to reschedule for a boot camp session at a different location and time.

Do I get a discount for signing up again?

A discount will be applied to all returning boot camp clients.

Do you offer private classes?

We offer personal training at our downtown fitness facility, Innovative Health Group. Innovative Health Group offers training programs tailored to your needs, personal goals and current level of fitness.
