Dr. Pinter completed her Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary in Ecology. With a keen interest in the outdoors, nature and an innate desire to work with individuals she went on to complete a four year doctorate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Pinter practices naturopathic family medicine with a focus on classical homeopathy, chronic illness, digestive concerns, hormonal imbalances, skin disorders, pre and post natal care and pediatrics. Further studies have led her to attend advanced classical homeopathy seminars in India to learn the ‘Sensation Method’ of case taking and remedy prescribing from some of the world’s leaders in homeopathy. She has additional training in Biotherapeutic DrainageTM, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Herbal Therapeutic Protocols.
Her treatment approach focuses on restoring the body, mind and spirit to a balanced state of health using gentle therapeutic techniques including homeopathy, acupuncture, botanical medicine, detoxification, hydrotherapy, nutrition and lifestyle counseling. Dr. Pinter recognizes the value of health, the ability to experience freedom on all levels and being flexible to respond appropriately to what life demands. Her goal is to facilitate the healing process, counsel and inspire individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices, improve their quality of life and achieve their wellness goals. She is licensed with the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (AANP) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Andrew Lester, Physiotherapy Consultant offering Acupuncture Services
Andrew graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy after completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology in 2004 at the University of Calgary. Andrew brings his 17 year experience as a competitive triathlete and coach to the clinical setting where he has developed a special interest in active rehab and exercise prescription for all individuals. Since graduating, Andrew has been pursing his certifications in manual therapy & acupuncture, and has been utilizing these skills in the clinical setting. He has training in muscle mobilization, a particular technique that liberates tight or over-used muscles and allows them to return to dynamic and healthy contraction.
Andrew has found particular success in treating knee, back and shoulder dysfunction with his combination of exercise prescription, manual therapy, acupuncture and hands on therapies. Outside of the clinic, Andrew continues to compete as a triathlete at the Ironman distance and believes this experience and his desire to promote an active lifestyle will both guide and motivate other individuals to reach their individual goals.
